You Don't Have to Wear Red or Pink on Valentine's Day
February 5, 2018
Hello, ladies! Valentine's Day is fast approaching! If you are searching for the perfect glam, but don't want to be THAT cliché, here is an outfit idea for you that does not involve red or pink. There is very little time left and, trust me, you do not want to look just like every other queen in that romantic candle-lit restaurant. You will want to stand out like the emerald that you are--not fade into the sea of red and pink.
Wearing red or pink on Valentine's Day is.....understandable. It's classic. It's romantic. However, it is also predictable as hell. It is the obvious choice that all the beautiful ladies will be choosing to rock come February 14. If you want to step outside of the (chocolate heart) box and try something a little bit more untraditional, then opt for this look instead. I am wearing a rich, emerald monochrome look. I really took it up a notch by using very luxurious fabrics--both velvet and fur.
Why I selected emerald green for you for Valentine's Day? Emerald green gives instant high class and boosts self-confidence. It is a color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance, and harmony. The best thing about emerald green is that it can flatter literally everyone, regardless of skin tone, hair and eye color, and one’s personal style. This opulent jewel tone looks amazing without effort, and works in combination with a sea of other hues that you already have in your wardrobe!
So, step out of the heart-shaped box and try emerald for Valentine's Day instead of red or pink. Mix luxe fabrics. I can not promise that you will make it to your second course of the meal in this look (wink, wink), but I can promise you’ll look amazing and stand out!
